Kingborough Lions United FC offers football programs for players of all ages, abilities, and ambitions.

Juniors (U5-U12)

For boys and girls aged 5 to 12, focused on fun, skill development, and enjoyment.

Youth (U13-U18)

For boys and girls aged 13 to 18, supporting both community participation and performance development.

Seniors (Social)

For adult men and women seeking competitive and social football environments.

Extension Programs

The club offers extension programs all year round for Junior and Youth players.

WSL Program

High-performance program for female players extending at the top level of football in the State and beyond.

NPL Program

High-performance program for male players extending at the top level of football in the State and beyond.

Overview

Season Overview

While exact details vary by program and age group, a typical season includes:

  • Pre-season activity beginning in November, or early in the year for some programs
  • Regular training during the week
  • Weekend matches during the competitive season
  • Tournaments for Juniors and Youth
  • Most competitions running from March to August

Commitment levels increase with age and program level. Details are outlined on each program page.

How to Register

All players must register through the official Football Australia PlayFootball registration system. The club membership packages are included in this process.

Step-by-step:

  1. Select your program based on age and interest
  2. Complete online registration through the PlayFootball platform
  3. Submit any required documentation
  4. Await confirmation and team allocation information

If you are unsure which program is right for you or your child, please contact the club before registering. Extension programs are available through the online shop.

Uniforms and Gear

  • Playing shirts are provided by the club for matches during the season
  • Training kits and additional items may be required depending on program
  • Players must supply:
    • Football boots
    • Shin pads
    • Water bottle
    • Playing Shorts
    • Socks
