Kingborough Lions United Football Club is excited to announce the appointment of Alfred Hess to the new role of Youth Technical Director at the club.
Alfred brings extensive experience in high performance football environments both as a player and a coach. He has demonstrated experience creating environments where players are able to develop, learn and enjoy the game. Alfred is currently completing a Masters of Secondary Teaching, holds a Canada Soccer C License (transitioning to AFC C Licence) and Ontario Soccer Fitness Trainer Diploma Level 1 and 2.

“This is a pivotal appointment for the club – Alfred’s education background, understanding of our development vision and contemporary approach to coaching make him a perfect fit for the role.” said KLUFC Technical Director Simon Edwards , “I am looking forward to working closely with Alfred on improving the delivery of our football development plan in the youth program.”
Alfred will commence as Youth TD with the club early January. Youth players not already training in Term 4 who are interested in our Youth Academy program should attend trial sessions which will commence from 08 January 2022 .
