Schedule – from week commencing 13th January 2025 Summer Holiday Schedule
- Youth Boys –
Mondays (first Monday session 13th Jan) and Thursdays (first Thursday session 16th Jan)
U13s for 2025 season – 4:15pm – 5:45pm
U14s-U16s for 2025 season – 5:30pm – 7pm
- Youth Girls –
Tuesdays (first Tues session 14th Jan)
U13s for 2025 season at 4:15pm – 5:45pm
U14s-U16s for 2025 season at 5:30pm-7:00pmÂ
Fridays (first Fri session 17th Jan)

Volunteers: KLUFC welcomes and supports volunteers wanting to take on coaching, team manager, first aid or sports trainer roles – it is a condition of team nomination that these roles are filled before a team can be nominated.  Contact  [email protected] for more details.
Terms and Conditions
The Player (or if the Player is under 18 years of age at the time of signing this form, that Player’s parent or legal guardian) agrees to comply with the terms (as specified here) and its incorporated documents, including the FFA Statutes, FT Rules, Player Code of Behaviour and Spectator Code of Behaviour. I understand that I am bound by the KLUFC Codes of Conduct and the Kingborough Lions United FC Constitution. Â I accept the privacy policy of the club/FA in addition to the privacy act 2001. I am responsible for payment of any fines issued as a result of disciplinary findings from Football Tasmania. I understand I am enrolling for an annual program and that on acceptance of this enrolment I agree to pay.
Emergencies: By submitting this form you give permission to KLUFC to act in best interests in an emergency and agree to reimburse KLUFC for any costs incurred in the emergency treatment of the registered player.
Inclusions: I understand the Annual Program fee does include player registration (FFA/FFT), Club Membership, Program fees, Training fees and Youth Presentation Dinner ticket (for Player).
Exclusions: I understand the Annual Program fee does not include camps, festival travel/accommodation/food, inter-state trips or training kit. Hobart, Devonport and Launceston cup nomination fees are not included.
Refund policy – KLUFC will not refund any monies (i.e. if training sessions or games are missed or cancelled there will be no refund).
Parent’s Commitment to the program – I agree to pay all fees by the due date and understand that not doing so may result in my not being allowed to participate in Program activities. I understand that I am wholly responsible for my behavior. agree to get my child to the training sessions and games by the stated starting time and be at training to pick up my child at the stated finishing time.  I understand that I am bound by the KLUFC Codes of Conduct, and will not enter the training surface during sessions. I understand I will not be able to participate in training sessions without the Youth training kit .  Academy  Players are expected to arrive at matches in the Club Polo, Track top and track bottoms.  In the event of unforeseen circumstances please send a text message to the Youth Coordinator.
I give KLUFC permission to publish photos of our training sessions, games or clinics on the KLUFC website, Facebook page and/or the Kingborough Chronicle.
Payment Plan
If  I choose to pay the program fees on a term by term basis, I agree to make payments of term invoices within 14 days of receiving the invoice from the club.

Parent Participation Agreement
As a Parent of the Kingborough Lions United Football Club athlete I agree to participate and act in accordance with the following code of ethics:
- Respect the rights, dignity and worth of fellow athletes, coaches, officials and spectators.
- Respect the talent, potential and development of all athletes and competitors.
- Not interfere with the coaching of my son or daughter (let the coach do the coaching)
- Care and respect any equipment provided to my son or daughter
- Not enter the training surface or playing surface (unless asked to by the Coach) during training or games.
- Be frank and honest with Coaches concerning illness and injury and my son/daughter’s ability to train fully within program requirements.
- Conduct myself in a professional manner relating to language, manner, temper and punctuality.
- Maintain high personal behaviour standards at all times. Abide by the rules and respect the decisions of the referee and officials;
- Cooperate with coaches and Kingborough Lions Football staff in the development of programs to adequately prepare my son or daughter for club and state competition at the highest level.
- Requests for non-attendance at training or matches be made in writing 2 weeks prior to occasion where the non-attendance is known in advance.
- At no time make comments or views that could be seen as detrimental to the Kingborough Lions United Football Club or its programs, including making comments on local football blog sites or social media.
- Uphold the attached Parent Code of Conduct and Spectator Code of Conduct
Parent Code of Conduct
As a parent I will:
- remember that children play the sport for their enjoyment, and not mine;
- encourage all children to participate, do not force them;
- focus on the child’s efforts and performance rather than the result of the activity (that is, winning or losing);
- encourage children to always participate according to the rules;
- never ridicule, yell at a child for making a mistake or losing a game;
- remember that children learn best by example, so applaud good play by both teams;
- support all efforts to remove racial, gender and religious vilification, verbal and physical abuse from sporting activities;
- respect the match official’s decisions and teach your child to do likewise;
- show respect and appreciation to Club officials, including coaches, officials and administrators.
Ensure any issues are raised through the correct channels;
- not smoke or consume alcohol near the team bench (Technical Area) or sideline.
Player Participation Agreement (Youth)
As the Athlete in a Kingborough Lions United Football Club program I agree to participate and act in accordance with the following code of ethics:
- Work towards the attainment of the Athlete’s full potential in the program

Comply with the training requirements of the program.
- Participate and train in accordance with the attached Player Code of Conduct
- Comply with all the rules and regulations applicable to the sport of Football
- Behave and dress in a respectful manner when representing the club both on and off the competition arena.
- Wear the appropriate Club uniform at training, during competition, and any other program events or media interviews the athlete is involved in. (The Athlete must not permit the uniform to be worn by someone who is not a current member of the program).
- Wear the correct boots as directed by the program. These are to be boots, with round studs relevant for soft and hard ground. (Blades are not acceptable).
- Promote the program and Club in a positive manner in the community or media interviews.
- Not supply any information to the media or for the use by the media, either spoken or written, relating to policy matters of the program without the approval of the Technical Director, Kingborough Lions Football Club or the Program Head Coach.
- Participate in sports science testing if required at agreed times during the term of this Agreement.
- Comply with the Tasmanian Government Drugs in Sport Policy.
- Participate in drug testing if and when directed by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority or other certified drug testing authorities.
- Annually participate in Drugs in Sport education session provided by the program and make every effort to understand the Athlete’s obligations under doping provisions and the consequence of any breach of such provisions.
- Participate in program seminars, meetings and workshops when required.
- Travel to and from any program camps or events in accordance with the arrangements made by the club.
- Notify the Program Head Coach before entering into or participating in, a private sponsorship arrangement or accepting money or other benefits from a private sponsor.
- Notify the Program Head Coach if approached by another club
- Comply with any reasonable direction of the Head Coach for resolving any conflict of these arrangements with the sponsorship arrangements of the program.
- Advise the Program Head Coach of any condition, illness or injury that may prejudice the Athlete’s continued participation.
- Undergo a medical examination when required by notice in writing addressed to the Athlete by the Program Head Coach.
- Notify the Club in writing of any matter that is relevant to the Athlete’s participation in the program or this Agreement within seven (7) days of being requested in writing to do so by the Head Coach
- Permit information provided by the Athlete’s application and other personal information to be stored and accessed by the Club.
- Permit personal health information to be made available to the Club from any medical practitioner, sports scientist or physiotherapist where the information is relevant to the Athlete’s performance.
- Not smoke or consume substances that are detrimental to the Athlete’s sporting performance and/or health.
- Not accept any funding of any nature from Tobacco companies or any body that acquires its revenue through the sale of tobacco.
- Acknowledge that the Club will not pay for the costs of any medical or hospital services incurred by the Athlete.
- The Athlete acknowledges and agrees that any information which may be collected and/or held by the Club at any time regarding the Athlete’s Position and the results of sports science tests may be disclosed to the Australian Institute of Sport, the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority or any other State, Territory or national sporting organisation.
- If and whenever there shall be a breach of the terms and conditions of this agreement by the Athlete, it shall be lawful for the Club at its discretion to cancel the agreement.
- If the Athlete leaves the program, they remain liable to pay any outstanding program fees and associated costs with recovering those fees
